Greg will be going into his 10th year of teaching at Omaha Westside High School. At Westside, he leads Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Decibelles, and Simply Irresistible. He also directs the music for Westside’s annual musical productions. Prior to Westside, Greg taught for 4 years at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn in Adel, Iowa. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Luther College, and Master in Music in Conducting from the University of Nebraska-Omaha under the mentorship of Dr. Derrick Fox. I want to thank my incredible wife, Kelly, who is so patient with me amidst our crazy schedule! Greg loves to golf, watch baseball and football, and play with his dog, Juniper.

Andrew Jacobson is one of the Choral Directors at Westside High School. In the fall of 2025, he will be starting his 16th year of teaching and first year at Omaha Westside where he teaches Freshmen Choir, ATSC, Warrior Express, and co-teaches Warrior Choir He received his undergraduate in Voice-Music Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is an active adjudicator and clinician forShow Choirs and Show Bands across the Midwest. As well as directing Show Choirs, he spends his summers
as a clinician for Nebraska Show Choir Camp and arranging for Show Choirs across the entire country. When he’s not working for High School Choral programs, Andrew spends his time golfing, being with his nieces and nephews, and traveling as much as he can. (Especially to Husker activities and other sporting events!)

Collaborative Pianist

Elisia is entering her second year as collaborative pianist at Omaha Westside. Prior to Westside, Elisia was the collaborative pianist at Grand Island Senior High. She holds many degrees! She is by far the smartest one on the team and is the reason why this dysfunctional department functions.
